#asktheexperts my baby is 18 months old...whenever his new tooth erupts he gets fever n stops eating for 4-5 days n it's very frequent..how to help him n what else should I try if he doesn't eat food fruits n milk

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. teething only causes mild rise in body temperature. there is a loss of appetite during teething which is okay. do not force feed. give more of fluids and semisids. if the child is having high grade fever please visit a pediatrician
