A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supeplements may be helpful like shatavari .
Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which mady be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Newborn babies should breastfeed 8–12 times per day for about the first month. Breast milk is easily digested, so newborns are hungry often. Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day.
