Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 10 months and 10 days old. whenever I try to breastfeed him, he bites so hard. I am unable to bf him. very rarely at nights I am able to bf him...I am afraid the weaning is early. pls suggest what to do

A. stay calm..n continue feeding your baby might be teething, calmly remove your baby from your breast -do not scream or yell at your baby. -while feeding give him lots of eye contact, and talk to him while he’s feeding. -Try feeding your baby in a different position.

A. hi dear A 10-month-old baby should be drinking at least 24–32 ounces of breast milk or formula every 24 hours. If you divide this between four nursing sessions, it is about 6–8 ounces each time. Even if your baby is eating more solid foods, keep offering them the appropriate amount of breast milk or formula.
