Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 1 month old and demands to suckle continuously at night even after feeding. if detached cries a lot. he wants to soothe. this makes nipples sore and painful. can I give him pacifier after feed?

A. dear avoid pacifier it can introduce infection to baby , reduce milk supply , interfere with breast feeding and also a difficult habit to remove later try rocking baby holding comforting other family members can help first few months are difficult as it is new environment for baby as well

Q. Hi Doctor My baby is 1 year old 8 days. She will ask for feeding at night more than 5 times so l am not able to sleep properly which directly affecting to my work.
