A. skin infections like boils folliculitis, furuncles, and carbuncles are caused by bacteria. risk factors: - anyone can be affected. - children with weak immune systems are more vulnerable if occurring again and again. - close contact with infected individuals, skin injuries, and exposure to certain environments play a role. symptoms: - red, warm, swollen, and painful skin lesions. - lesions may discharge pus. - fever, chills, and increased heart rate may occur. treatment: - mild cases may resolve without treatment. - moderate to severe casesç may require incision, drainage, and antibiotics. - seek medical advice if multiple skin boils are suspected in a child.
