#asktheexperts My baby girl birth weight was 2.5kg. She was born at 38weeks as she was not growing inutero. Currently she is 2 months old and her weight is 5kg. She has doubled her birth weight. Is it normal

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 days agoA. Namaste Mom, Almost a months time the baby has already doubled the birth weight, expected monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight
