Q.

#asktheexperts my baby feeds only for 5 mins in 3 hours gap…. She is 5 months old and on exclusive breast feeding. I m worried. Her pee count is about more than 6 per day.

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take tthe milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. It Should be at least 10 times in a day because if your child is having feeding properly even if it is five minutes maybe the flow of your breast is really good which is why your child is full in like five minutes but if we count should be more enough it’s very less as of now
