Q.

#asktheexperts My baby doesn't burp when fall asleep while taking the feed. I put her on my shoulder for 10-15 mins to get the burp however it doesn't help and when i put her to bed she becomes uncomfortable without burp and wakes up. Frequent missing burp at times results in colic. Please guide the best way to get the burp from sleeping baby.

A. Hi! just hold the baby on ur shoulder, and then gently massage the area below the neck in circular and clock wise direction. Try this, it may take a minute or two, the baby may feel irritated but is relived of the gas. I only burp my baby this way when he is asleep.

A. good morning just try to keep the way be a little bit longer on your shoulder this will help to make sure that the milk gets digested properly apart from that I would recommend you to try to give your baby tummy time a couple of times in the day to reduce colic
