#asktheexperts my baby(breastfed) is suffering from diarrhea, green watery poop, 7 to 8 times per day since 2 days. may I know the reason and solution?

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever tjihan it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. U See the reason could be anything most commonly it would be a stomach infection but it could be anything else also so it would be advisable for you to get a check with your paediatrician they will be able to give you better clarity and medication associated with the same
