#asktheexperts my baby boy 4moths he is comfort to the sides sleeping is it correct or not

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy.
(one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation).
when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation.
the important thing is that if the child is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as respirdation and digestion problem then you can continue to let the child sleep as well as give feeding in this position.
but if you feel tfhat the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. It is not a problem but you should just keep changing the sites because it a child is constantly going to sleep in the same side and the head is going to become Flat from that side switch very important for you to keep changing the sites for the child
