A. In the initial week to 10 days because of jaundice and improper feeding kids can lose up to 3 to 500 g of weight it’s not a problem but now you should feed your child every two hours and it’s minimum that the child should gain 500 g in a month so whatever weight was at the time of discharge evaluate from there after completing a month through the time of birth if your child gains 500 g that means you’re feeding is enough when the child is growing healthy
