#asktheexperts My baby birth weight was 2.4kg and now after 3 and half month baby weight is 5.1kg Is it normal??

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 3 month it's optimum Weight gain Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much if baby is active and having food properly and also your baby Weight is perfectly fine as per my opinion and also it should be doubled the birth weight in first six months at least.
