#asktheexperts My 7 month old baby is gaining only 200g a month from past 4 months. He weighs 7.8kg now (birth weight 3.6kg). Height 75cm. Should I be worried about his weight gain?

Yes you should be worried about the weight gain as a child should gain at least 500 g and with such a fabulous birth weight your child should have been approximately 8 kg by the time of six months so you can see that the child is quite underweight approximately
