#asktheexperts my 6 year old is passing semi solid stool for 2 to 3 times a day from past 1 month. he had food from outside once and had loose motion one month back . showed to dr he jst gave enterogemina bt didn't work. pls suggest

A. you need to wait for 3 days mostly it's viral infection if there is any foul smell then consult your doctor for antibiotics For diarrhea give ors sporolac and natural probiotics like curd yogurt etc give plenty of oral fluids give syp zinc as prescribed by your maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water
