Q.

#asktheexperts My 6-month-old son has started solids but only once a day. He is fine in the day time but in the night time he is waking up in a very short duration like 1hr to 1.5 hrs. Family members are forcing me to give solids at night also.. should I do that or give him any formula milk at night. please guide me correctly.

A. Actually as per the standard schedule be suggested to start giving food one time in the day then within a week to 10 days time it should be three times in the day slowly like first initial three days you give only lunch and start giving lunch and dinner then you introduced breakfast so it’s very important for a child to have proper three meals plus fruits so of course your family member the right that you should give proper dinner to the child that will help in keeping the child sufficiently full for a longer duration
