#asktheexperts my 4 months old starts having hiccups if she tries to talk or make some noise. hiccups last for almost 7-8mins. she is exclusively bf. what should I do to stop that in less time.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 4 months old and she is taking breast feeding only and getting hiccups so don’t worry it’s very normal for any baby just burp her properly and give her few drops of honey

A. hi please do the following things: offer small and frequent feeds keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding. make sure your child latches properly. burp or hold your child on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes. as you are nursing mother, eat easy to digest food maintain good hygiene
