#asktheexperts my 4 months old baby did not pass motion from yesterday.... Can you please help me with this.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation in small babies is quite commonly seen and is more with babies who are fed with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are to be avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble. In case of severe constiiaspation of above one week you can give suppository but only under medical advice.

Constipation is completely normal and common in his passing urine at least 10 to 12 times in a day on the minimum side and also taking all the feeding properly without any hassle then there is nothing to be worried about as of this thing is completely common with kidsWrite Your Answer Here
