#asktheexperts My 23 days old daughter suddenly vomited milk from her nose and mouth last night. Since last 2-3 days she is also sleeping and waking for feeding in 3-4 hrs. She is also suffering from gas problem, her stomach is always tight and passing gas. What to do?

A. It's normal..baby's nose is connected to the back of her throat. This means spit-up will sometimes come out her nose instead of her mouth. Make each feed calm and relaxed. Hold your baby in an upright position, not lying down, while you feed them. Feed your baby smaller amounts at a time. Feed your baby without delay. Burp your baby several times during each feeding. Keep baby upright for 30 minutes after every feeding. tc
