#asktheexperts My 13 months old son has been suffering from fever and cold since yesterday. Doctor recommended him P-250 2.5 ml every 6 hours after food.His current weight is 9 kg. is this ok for him.?

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is guiiven. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Actually according to the way it should be approximately 1ML to 1.5 ML but your doctor has advised you on some basis maybe the dosage of the medicine is higher because the medicine that your doctor has given is a low grade medicine as it is not that strong so it could probably be feasible that way
