#asktheexperts My 11 months old daughter was given iron drops last night for the first time....and she is crying throughout the night ....what can be the reason....she has cough also

ExpertDr Sonali KadeliPaediatrician2 days agoA. Any additional food was given? Apart from routine? They can have colicky, iron for one day doesn’t cause so much problem

Iron drops usually do not create the problem but if the child was constantly crying through the night it could have been associated with stomach pain so give a medicine associated with that and avoid giving iron supplement in the night today and see the same situation and it could be due to the supplement also
