#asktheexperts My 1 year old baby is having fever for last two days with 99 - 101F around on & off.. My paed suggested Mefkind DS 2.5ml 4times a day.. Whenever I give that syrup she doesn't like that taste & smell.. she vomits in a fraction of second. please help.. is there any alternative medicine I can use with any flavors.. even I tried giving it with sugar water mixed also.. pls help.. 1 year 1 month old 8.5kgs

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. give pcm for thefever. Temperature more than 99 is fever . Can Give paracetamol for fever and can be given 3 to 4 times in a day . If temperature does not comes down then give nobel plus or baby not looking well then need a examination as it may be any infection .
