#asktheexperts my 1.5 old son is going potty in 5 to 7 days that too with help of suppository. kindly advise for how long I should wait before using suppositories. is this the sign of constipation and what can I do about it.

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy7 months agoA. Hai good evening !! Dont use suppositories as it might habituaut.
Constipation in few new born babies is normal, if baby is actively taking feed with no gas,tight tummy then no worries.
Do tummy massage with warm castor oil or coconut oil gently massage with finger tips in clockwise direction to get relief from gas,hard stools.
