ExpertArchanaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hi Mom, if your baby is active, happy, eating properly and reaching his milestones then nothing to worry about his weight.
babys weight depends on his birth weight, hence on an average, we can expect baby to gain 500 gm to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year as per birth weight. small deviation is absolutely fine.
you can give smashed banana, boiled and smashed potato, boiled and smashed sprouts and pulses, fruits puree, nuts paste, boiled vegetable sticks or puree, porridge, roti or paratha smashed in dal or curry, soft cooked amd smashed khichdi, pancake, thin dosa, soft idli etc and use ghee in meal preparations.
feed after 2 hours gap, follow good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
