Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go .
In the toddlers thumb sucking habit is also seen many a times which could be phycological cause and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable and divert in some activities also spend good time witvjh the child .
In extreme case withdrawal can be tried with some solution available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be apbplied locally .

Teether can we give it to the child seems like a child could be teasing and which is why your child constantly biting on its finger because teething can happen any time after completing the time of three months I believe that could probably be the reason for the child
