A. Yes, you should use a gentle tear free shampoo. I would suggest use Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Wash and Shampoo. It's an oatmeals extracted shampoo which makes skin and hair texture smooth and my baby enjoys bathing time.

A. Of course! For your 5-month-old baby, it's important to choose mild, gentle, and tear-free products that are specially made for babies. Their skin is delicate and can get dry or irritated easily with harsh soaps or shampoos. Best Baby Soaps (Mild & Moisturizing): Sebamed Baby Cleansing Bar Soap-free, gentle, and pH 5.5 – protects baby’s skin barrier. Himalaya Gentle Baby Soap Contains almond oil and olive oil; budget-friendly and mild. Dove Baby Rich Moisture Soap Hypoallergenic, gentle on sensitive skin. Best Baby Shampoos (Tear-Free & Safe): Cetaphil Baby Wash & Shampoo with Calendula Mild fragrance, very gentle, and good for sensitive skin. Sebamed Children's Shampoo pH 5.5, tear-free, and dermatologically tested. Mamaearth Gentle Cleansing Shampoo Natural ingredients like coconut and jojoba; tear-free. Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo Affordable and herbal-based with no harsh chemicals. Tips: Use soap/shampoo only 2–3 times a week for the full bath—water rinse is enough on other days. Always patch test a new product first. After bath, apply a gentle baby lotion or oil to lock in moisture.
