#asktheexperts last month my baby was 5.75 kg.. now I checked the weight of the baby and he is 6 kg only.. what to do ? please tell me doc

baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or less and should triple the birth weight by 1 year
exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete
at one time , feed from only one breast do not switch breast

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello the weight is okay and it is absolutely nothing to worry about and make sure the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and in the case the breast milk is not sufficient you can alternatively be giving your child infant formula milk stage one using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
