#asktheexperts is swaddling important for babies to get their bones strong?

A. In case of new borns Swaddling helps the baby to sleep well for longer time, reduces the risk of SIDS, to keep the baby warm and not lose temperature, it helps to give the baby a comfortable feeling like how he or she was inside the womb. But I don't think it has anything to do with strengthening the bones. You can swaddle the baby until three months or as long as the baby is comfortable with it. If swaddling is bothering the baby u shouldn't do it. Also u should ensure to swaddle the right way.
