#asktheexperts Is it required to test the thyroid levels of baby if the mother is on thyroid medication during her pregnancy?is the chances of baby having thyroid problem are more in this case and baby losing hair in 5th month is an alarm to check the thyroid levels and any iron deficiency?

A. hello mum yes if mother has thyroid during pregnancy it is important for baby also to get that test done and most of the time it is already done at the time of birth and shedding of the best hair is not alarming or related to thyroid as it happens to a normal baby also
