Actually kids don’t wake up much in this age which is why they stay hungry and that is why the doctor say that it’s good to feed feed the child every two hours so that they can consume sufficient amount of feeding but I know practically it is not possible so you should feed your child when the child wakes up it is also not advisable to force feed your child
