#asktheexperts is it okay to feel less movements during advanced pregnancy stages like 38+ weeks? also is it normal to not experience braxton hicks

A. Brackston hicks are common among some percentage of women only.envery women won't experience it.they just Come like period cramps and won't last.

A. Hi.At 38+ weeks babies are completely formed and there is no place for them to move in the womb.so baby is too big to move inside or baby is preparing for birth.also baby sleeps more in the womb.if baby is sleeping try to wake up by some tricks like keeping your hand on stomach and pat,talk to baby,or walk.you should worry if don't feel movements atleast for 2 hours.also observe for stomach moving down.side pains,back pain,vaginally discharge and period like cramps in lower abdomen. that means labour is near.

A. if you feel less movements or any discharge or strong contraction and pain then you should reach the gynaecologist.. take care take rest keep yourself well hydrated
