Q.

#asktheexperts Is it normal for a 3 and a half year old to complain about pain in the legs before going to sleep every night? Also how important and necessary is it to keep a tab on the daily intake of carbs, proteins and fats?

A. Hello dear parent! They are called growing pains, indicating less calcium intake. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Consult your child’s doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
