#asktheexperts is it fine to give buffalo milk to a 14 month old baby instead of cow's milk? as I tried giving cow's milk, but he doesn't like it.. If I'm giving buffalo milk, do i need to add water to it? how to give ? kindly guide.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello. Mom yes buffalo milk can be given , though cows milk is preferred as in it is very much similar to C mothers milk and it is easier to digest as well.
For Buffalo milk try to add water initially 1:1 and then gradually reduce the quantity of the water in it , and later give it without water .as Buffalo milk is much high in fat some kids might find it difficult to digest it well.
