Q.

#asktheexperts in a 5 month of age...can we introduce baby with food..or not. can we do annprashan or not....is it safe and healthy for baby or not?

A. Yes I guess annaprashan can be done by the age of 5 Months and slowly and steadily you can give liquids to child and then gradually semi solids can be introduced by the age of 6 months and above

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the initial stage you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some purie of carrot potato and some other foods which can be given are porridge of suji sabudana which can be pregupared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp whirch can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

A. hi parent upto her age of six months she should be exclusively on the breast milk only after it she can be given the easy to digest liquid and semisoldks gradually
