#asktheexperts i want to ask three things about my son doctor why my son doesn't speak anything till yet? why he doesn't understand the commands neither in his Play school nor in home like No ,sit ? why he doesn't play with other kids in his Play school?

Trishla jainMom of a 4 yr 2 m old boy1 Year agoA. please immediately go to the pediatric neurologist and get ur son examined. if he is hyperactive and speech delay he may need some therapies and now the age is correct. Early intervention is always good if u can observe some issues in ur child. Don't wait for anything else please.

Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start sayingg simple sentences by twog years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
