#asktheexperts I m a new mom mujhe abhi bhi feed nahi aa raha and mere brest bohot heavy ho gye hai milk bhar gya hai but nikal nahi Raha what can I do

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be dogne by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which mady be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .

A. You should do hot compress that is going to help in opening up the duct blockages and after that the feeding is going to be proper you should do it every two or three hours which is what is going to be beneficial and if needed please consult a lactation specialist as well
