#asktheexperts i have a 40 days old newborn and I can't feed him directly from the breast because nipples are bigger in size which he can't put in his mouth and suck on his own i have put the nipple in his mouth and press then he feed the milk after that I have to give him expressed milk to full his tummy it is time taking and sometimes I dont have expressed milk immediately because it takes time to pump the milk then I have to give him formula milk for his hunger I am worried when will he start feeding directly from the breast

A. Mam you can actually consult a lactation specialist I think using a nipple she would be very helpful and also since they have an expertise in the area they can also tell you the right way to feed the child directly on the breast
