Father of a 7 m old boy5 months ago
Q.

#asktheexperts I have 2 month old boy. We feel his weight is not increasing as per standards. He was 2.8 Kg when born. Now he is 5 kg. Are we making any feeding mistake like having short feeding sessions? We feed him 7-8 minutes in single feeding session.

A. Mam your child is actually gaining better than a regular child I don’t know why do you think so because the figures that you have mentioned it shows that your child has gained 2200 g in two months which is actually more than maximum weight gain that should be seen in two months so whatever session your child is having eight minutes or nine minutes it’s good enough please don’t worry about it
