#asktheexperts i got hypothyroidism during my pregnancy. at that time doctors said the medication will be given till the time of delivery but after delivery they continued medication. although my levels be normal. should i continue the medication or not

A. get new report. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusionyou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment

A. Hi. Please talk to your doctor and get your TSH levels checked once again. It is possible that the doctor wants them in a range that is at the lower end of normal for women who are not pregnant. Your doctor should be able to explain why they want you to continue the medicine even after your TSH levels are within lab normal.

A. If your levels are normal then you should not be taking this medicine but prior to take any decision you please get a thyroid test done once again if it is negative that means you don’t have thyroid so you consult your doctor in stock they’re not healthy for you in any manner
