#asktheexperts I delivered my late preterm baby boy on 34 week day 1, his birth weight was 2.460 and now he is 28 days old his weight is 2.900. Is he gaining enough weight? I do not have any idea about late preterm baby weight progress.how to calculate? kindly help me.

A. Your baby will gain about 1 to 1½ inches (2.5–3.8 centimeters) in length and 2 pounds (907 grams) in weight this month. But it's also OK if your baby grows a little more or a little less. At this point, you probably know the signs that your baby is hungry or full.
