Q.

#asktheexperts I am using Philip avent ultra air pacifier my only concern is that may be pacifier can affect my baby's mouth structure or may be it will harden his gum ... please let me know if worries are worthy enough to worry....

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple / teether if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls down and goes axgain inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection zand cough and cold and loose motion

A. Pacifier Da not recommended in general also because yes it can have a bad impact on the gums of your child as well as it’s such a filthy addiction that it will be a pain for you to get rid of it in the long run but overall as per doctors in India they do not advise pacifier
