#asktheexperts I am mother of 3 months old baby boy, my baby got white patches on face neck & upper side of body i don't know whats the reason for caused . I used regular oral suspension victim D3 syrup . still he had that patches.what to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it cang be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

it happens because of many reasons like nutritional deficiencies , Infection,skin condition or injury etc
so better to check with your pediatrician for once who can diagnose right after examining your child Health.
