#asktheexperts i am in 4th month of pregnancy.i have gestational diabetes if i take tablet for sugar should baby will dependence on tablet I mean by birth baby also be diabetic.or else taking insulin may help baby to avoid diabetic.can you please clarify me i should only take insulin not tablet. my sugar levels are not higher that 170 after taking lunch

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 days agoA. Hey! There will be no relation of you taking a diabetic medication and your child general health after birth. That two different factors it is not genetical determined now itself as you are taking medication.
