#asktheexperts I am having extreme pain during breastfeeding I watched a lot of videos online on how to overcome them but they are only suggesting improve baby's latch. I tried all of them even after that I am suffering pain and my nipples are cracked and sore. Please help me with this.

Author of questionGuardian of a 2 m old girl1 month agoA. But boroline is not safe for breastfeeding I need to wash every time I feed. As my child frequently fetches milk it might be unsafe. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You should apply Boroline antiseptic cream regularly that is going to heal and heal your nipples better apart from that also I’m going to advise you to do massage and hot compress to reduce the pain still the pain is then consult your doctor and start using a Babyhug nipple shield right now which will help in avoiding the cracks in the nipple
