Q.

#asktheexperts I am a father of new born girl child. My child is not able to feed directly from mother, even though mother's milk is releasing. It's been more than a week and we try every time but she refuses to feed directly. As a result my wife has to pump her milk and feed through bowl & spoon. Kindly suggest.

A. Hello dear parent! Few babies have latching issues. Consult a lactation expert for advice. Latch your baby well onto your breast and make a good skin contact with your baby while breastfeeding. Be patient and persistent in your efforts. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
