Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with zthe digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool.
the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watzery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
