#asktheexperts how to transition from mashed food to finger food .my baby starts gagging and reject it completely .also he still prefers spood fed rather then self feeding or trying

A. That’s completely normal for a child and it so no need to worry about it a child takes time to adjust to finger food or the consistency of the food that you were giving and having a food with proper spoon or your hands is going to be more comfortable in this age
