A. it is is very important to cover the child well during winter. whenever you touch the palms and soles of the child they should be warm. prevent temperature variations from hot to cold and cold to hot environment. you can use a room heater or blower to maintain a constant temperature during night time to prevent fluctuations. give more fluids to the child orally. complete the vaccination of the child on time during teething (pain can start as early as 3 months) there is itching, pain, drooling of saliva, swelling in the gums, oral finger insertion, irritability and crying during the teething process. it will come intermittently for few days to few weeks and then will go away. usually teething pain doesn't come after 2 years of age. with the help of your fingers you can press the gums of the child to decrease the pain as well as you can give a pacifier but it should be clean. you can give a cold cotton cloth to bite and press between the gums when the child is crying due to pain not resolving then you can give paracetamol which will also help in decreasing the pain. long-term medicine on daily bassis (homeopathic /allopathic )(they are painkiller)are usually not advisable.
