#asktheexperts how many times a 5days new born baby can be given firmula milk feeding, how much quantity, if mother is unable to feed the baby with her milk.

A. Follow the instructions of that formula milk. You can feed some extra milk if baby is hungry beyond instructions.

A. A newborn baby should be fed 50-60 ml of formula milk per feed in every 2-3 hours and 8-9 times a day. Include atleast 2 times night feed too after waking up the baby. Slowly, increase the amount by 20-30 ml per serving, depending on milk intake. Use good feeding bottle from brands like Babyhug or Philips Avent and sterilize it after every feed.
