#asktheexperts how many times a 5days new born baby can be given firmula milk feeding, how much quantity, if mother is unable to feed the baby with her milk.

Rubi KhanMom of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. Follow the instructions of that formula milk. You can feed some extra milk if baby is hungry beyond instructions.

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. A newborn baby should be fed 50-60 ml of formula milk per feed in every 2-3 hours and 8-9 times a day. Include atleast 2 times night feed too after waking up the baby. Slowly, increase the amount by 20-30 ml per serving, depending on milk intake. Use good feeding bottle from brands like Babyhug or Philips Avent and sterilize it after every feed.
