#asktheexperts how many days does it takes for jaundice to go away from the newborn completely if the baby is breastfeeding solely.

A. dear mum , in the newborn who is exclusively breastfed the jaundice may recover by upto1 week or 3 - 4 weeks . phototherapy may be suggested by the doctor

A. we have consulted doctor but doctor said phototherapy is not required as the bilirubin level is 9 . but its quiet concerning as my baby is already 1 month old. all the activities of baby is normal like urine and poop.except she grunts too much during pee and poop time and urine is still having little bit yellow.plus while sleeping also she grunts alot .
