#asktheexperts hlw dr how many times I can give colocaid to my new born baby,?my baby is 21days,today she crying to much I give her colocaid 0.3ml 2times,once morning and once 8:30p.m,plz tell me howmany time' I can give colocaid

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. this medicine should be given only if there is infantile colic Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
